Who it's for
Who HouseChief is for
HouseChief is a family organizer for parents and kids under one roof. It fits busy households where two working parents are splitting the load, and families with young kids who need chores, routines and a kitchen tablet the little ones can tap. One parent works just as well as two. It's free while in early access.
One household, every age
Parents sign in with an email and password; kids are profiles with no login at all. A single parent runs the family alone, or invites the other parent later from Settings. Grandparents and sitters get a read-only share link to the schedule, with no account. What HouseChief doesn't do is connect two separate households: it's built for one home. Pick the page that sounds like you, or see every feature and the FAQ.
Busy parents
For working parents sharing the mental load: one calendar, to-dos with owners, a morning briefing, and an AI chief of staff that drafts the week and asks first.
Families with young kids
For parents of roughly 3–8 year olds: emoji chores with stars, a wall display kids tap, daily routines, a read-only Buddy, and printables made for your kid.
Questions
Is HouseChief for single parents too?
Yes. Nothing in HouseChief needs two parents: one parent creates the family, adds the kids and runs everything, and inviting a second parent is optional at setup and later from Settings. The Chief of Staff, the morning briefing, chores, meals and to-dos all work the same for one parent.
Can grandparents or a sitter see our schedule?
Yes, with a read-only share link made in Settings. It shows the schedule only, needs no account, never includes lists, notes or settings, and can be turned off at any time. For a sitter, the New babysitter project template even reminds you to make one.
