Features
Everything your family needs in one organizer
HouseChief is a family organizer app with an AI chief of staff. One shared calendar that syncs two ways with Google Calendar, iCloud and Outlook, chores that earn stars and rewards, weekly meals with an aisle-sorted grocery list, to-dos and projects, a wall display for any tablet, and an assistant that drafts the week and asks a parent before changing anything. It runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, kids need no email or password, and it's free while in early access.
How the pieces fit
Everything lives in one household, so the calendar, the meal plan, the chores and the lists all know about each other. Forward a school email and the dates land in your Inbox. Put a recipe on Tuesday and its ingredients go to the grocery list. Set a chore to rotate and the kitchen tablet shows whose turn it is. Ask your Chief of Staff what's on this week and it reads all of it, then proposes changes you approve with a tap. There are no ads and no trackers, and family data is never sold.

Questions
Is HouseChief free?
Yes, free while in early access; pricing will be announced before any charge. There are no ads. Depending on the current sign-up setting, new families either sign up themselves at /join or request an invite.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. HouseChief is a web app that runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers. Add it to your Home Screen and it opens like an app, with notifications for the morning briefing and reminders. There is no separate App Store or Google Play app to install.
Can both parents and kids use it?
Yes. Parents sign in with an email and password and can invite the other parent. Kids are profiles with no email, password or phone; any signed-in device can switch to a kid's view, where they see their chores and to-dos and tick them off. A parent PIN keeps kids out of parent views.
Do I need to buy a display?
No. HouseChief doesn't sell hardware. Its wall display mode runs on any tablet or spare screen with a browser you already own, showing today and tomorrow, each kid's chores, dinner, the grocery list and the weather. See the wall display page for setup.
